A Porsche Club evening with Jacky Ickx

Porsche Centre East London recently hosted an event for the Porsche Owners Club with six-time Le Mans winner Jacky Ickx.
Jacques Bernard "Jacky" Ickx is a legendary Belgian racing driver who won the 24 Hours of Le Mans six times, achieved eight wins and 25 podium finishes in Formula One, won the Can-Am Championship in 1979 and is a former winner of the Dakar Rally.
The evening consisted of a "Question and Answer" session with Jacky, followed by autograph signing. We also had the actual Porsche 959 that Jacky drove to victory in the Dakar Rally on display. The car was generously loaned by the Porsche Museum for this event - it was the first time the car has ever been displayed in the UK.
